Pilot Terms of Use

Operator: Green Leaf Restoration. OPAL DBA registration is pending.

Important: These pilot terms are an operational draft and require Wisconsin legal review before live customer intake.

Pilot access

The first 30 days are invitation-only. OPAL may then open controlled public intake based on contractor capacity, support readiness, and pilot performance.

Marketplace role

OPAL provides intake, qualification, matching, communication, and workflow tools. Customers contract directly with independent contractors. OPAL is not the contractor performing matched work and does not control contractor means or methods.

Pre-selection communications

Before a customer selects a contractor, questions and answers remain inside OPAL. Direct customer phone numbers, email addresses, and exact property details are withheld unless disclosure is operationally necessary and authorized.

Separate Green Leaf projects

Major remodels, certain restoration work, and future TAP-related projects may be separately referred to Green Leaf Restoration. Any such project requires a separate proposal and agreement and is not treated as an OPAL marketplace transaction.

Contractor responsibility

Contractors are responsible for profile accuracy, licensing, insurance, permits, pricing, supervision, code compliance, taxes, personnel, warranties, and work quality.

Customer responsibility

Customers must provide accurate information, disclose hazards and access constraints, review the contractor agreement, and approve changes in writing.

Emergency requests

OPAL may accept an urgent request but does not promise immediate or after-hours dispatch until an on-call contractor accepts it. For fire, smoke, a gas odor, sparking, exposed energized equipment, flooding near electrical equipment, or immediate danger, leave the area and contact 911 or the appropriate utility emergency line before using OPAL.

Pilot payments and fee tracking

The 90-day proof of concept is free. Customers pay contractors directly, and OPAL does not hold construction funds or escrow payments. OPAL may privately calculate hypothetical marketplace fees for pilot analysis, but no pilot fee is due unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Resolution assistance

OPAL may provide resolution assistance and document disputes. No OPAL-funded workmanship guarantee is active until coverage, funding, eligibility, exclusions, claim limits, and procedures are approved in writing.

TAP participation

TAP participants are not independent contractors through OPAL. Participation requires an approved employment arrangement, workers’ compensation, supervision, restricted activities, safety controls, and required consent.

Support

OPAL support is available from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Central Time at 414-520-5240 or info@tap1solutions.com. During the pilot, automated account and project notices also use info@tap1solutions.com.
